Betis has had a solid last season which they ended in 6^th place with 61 points, and they have qualified for the Europa League this season.

Mallorca was outstanding in LaLiga 2 last season, and they were very close to winning it, but even 2^nd place is a nice success for this team. The good news for Mallorca is they have kept most of their key players, while also signing some impressive reinforcements, starting with Kubo from Real Madrid. This Mallorca team is impressive in my opinion, and even though their only goal is to stay in LaLiga for more than one season, I wouldn’t be surprised if they accomplish more than that.

Betis was solid last season, and if they were a bit more consistent, Betis might have been in the Champions League this season. as far as this preseason goes, Betis has had some good moments, but they have lost 3 of their 6 games. Betis has conceded 8 goals in 6 games while scoring 13 goals. There hasn’t been much movement in Betis in the transfer market, but they have sold one important player, and that was Emerson who was signed by Barcelona. Betis is still a good team, they have some great players, and since they don’t have any injuries or suspensions, they could have a solid start to the season. if I would need to choose which player to pay attention to in Betis, I would pick Canales, but there are more good players in this team, players like Fekir, Moron, Tello, and others. Betis will also be playing in the Europa League, and honestly, that might mess with their consistency in LaLiga, but looking at their roster, I think Betis has enough depth to compete in both competitions.

The trends are split in this matchup, but Mallorca hasn’t lost in their last 10 home games while winning 7 of those 10 games. Mallorca has had plenty of success against Betis at home, but Betis has won their last 2 games against Mallorca on the road. As we can see, Betis’ defense is not that good, while Mallorca is scoring a solid number of goals lately, and for that reason, I will take the over.
