Watford and Tottenham Hotspur face off on Saturday in an English Premier League showdown at Vicarage Road.

Tottenham currently sits in seventh place in the standings having picked up 30 points. Two of the last three games for Tottenham have ended in a draw and the other game was a 3-0 victory against Crystal Palace. In the last game against Southampton, Tottenham played to a 1-1 draw. Tottenham has scored 22 goals total while their defense has given up 20 goals total. Son Heung-Min has been the top player this season for Tottenham scoring eight goals and adding two assists. Harry Kane has also scored four goals and added an assist.

On the other side of this matchup is Watford who sits in 17th place in the standings having picked up 13 points. Watford is really struggling coming into this game having lost 11 games in a row. In the last game against West Ham, the defense gave up four goals and their job isn’t going to get any easier on that side of the ball. Watford has scored 22 goals while their defense has given up 35 goals. Emmanuel Dennis has been the top player for Watford scoring eight goals and adding five assists. Joshua King has scored five goals and added three assists. In this game if Watford wants to find the success they are going to need the defense to be a whole lot better.

Watford’s defense has been a problem all season, and they are going to have issues again against Tottenham. Look for Tottenham to score at least three goals and that is going to be the difference. Back Tottenham -1.5.
