Real Madrid is welcoming Valencia to Santiago Bernabeu in round 20 of the Spanish LaLiga. Real Madrid has surprisingly lost last weekend against Getafe, but they need to bounce back now to stay at the top. Valencia has been in excellent form but missing a few key players for this game will be crucial for Valencia.

Real Madrid is now 6 points ahead of Sevilla in LaLiga, and they need a win to stay ahead. Real is by far the best offensive team in the league with 41 scored goals, and Benzema has been their best player with 15 goals and 7 assists. Vinicius has added 10 goals. Not only Real has been the best offensive team, but they have also been one of the best defensive teams with only 17 conceded goals in 20 games. As far as their injuries go, the situation is improving in Real Madrid, they are getting some players back, but they still have a few injuries. Real Marid has lost only 1 game since October, and that was against Getafe last weekend, but I don’t think this can happen twice in a row to a team like Real Madrid.

Valencia has been excellent on both ends lately, especially in the attacking end where they scored a ton of goals, but they are missing their best two offensive players. Soler is injured, while Duro is suspended because of the red card. Soler has scored 7 goals for Valencia so far, while Duro added 5 goals. As far as Valencia’s form goes, it’s been outstanding. Valencia has won 6 of their last 7 games, they have lost 1, but they have scored at least 1 goal in all of those games. Overall, it was an excellent season so far for Valencia, but they need to keep playing this well to climb the table. Valencia is now in 9th place with 28 points, 31 scored goals, and 28 conceded goals. As we can see, Valencia’s defense is not great, but their offense is compensating nicely. The next few games in LaLiga will be hard for Valencia, but their offense is allowing them to expect some points if they can show up with that offense, and if not, it will be another disappointing period for Valencia.

I was thinking about going with goals on both sides, but with Soler and Duro out, Valencia’s chances to score are minimal. I’m going with Real Madrid at home.
