Roma and Juventus are clashing at Stadio Olimpico in round 21 of the Italian Serie A. Roma have been ripped off against Milan, they conceded two red cards and they lost a game. Juventus is in good form in Serie A, they are getting points, but they are not scoring a lot of goals.

As I’ve mentioned, the referees don’t like Roma this season, whether is that because of Mourinho or something else, I don’t know, but it’s not looking good. After being on a 3-game winning streak, Roma has gotten in a bit of a slump, and they are now without a win in their last 2 games. Roma has lost their last game against Milan, but they deserved more from that game. With 32 points, 32 scored goals, and 24 conceded goals, Roma is now in 7th place in the standings. Darboe and Diawara are in Africa, Spinazzola is injured, while Mancini and Karsdrop are suspended because of the yellow cards. Roma is now 6 points away from the Champions League, but unless something drastically changes, I don’t see them getting there because Atalanta and Juventus are more consistent right now.

Juventus is undefeated in their last 7 games overall, while they have won 5 of those 7 games. Thanks to this amazing run, and thanks to their defense, Juventus is now in 5th place with 35 points. Offensively, I know it seems like 28 scored goals is a lot, but Juventus is actually not scoring a lot, and they need a lot of chances to score more than 1 goal per game. As far as Juventus’ injury list goes, they are in a good situation right now, and Danilo is the only injured player for now. Juventus has also been active on the market since it opened a few days ago, they have been trying to unload and sign some players, but nothing concrete as of right now. Dybala and Morata are leading Juventus with 5 scored goals each, while Dybala also added 3 assists. The title is definitely out of Juventus’ reach this season, and it’s refreshing because they have won the title for many seasons in a row, but I think they can get into the top 4 and the Champions League.

Juventus hasn’t lost any of their last 7 games, and while Roma is a good team, they are not in good form right now. I think this could be a fun game, and if either team wants a win, they will need to score at least 2 goals, and I just don’t see it happening. I’m taking the draw in this one.
