Lens has been in solid form as of late, they are playing well defensively, and they are climbing the standings. Marseille is now in 3^rd place because of their draw last weekend, but they are still the best defensive team in the league.

Last weekend, Marseille was playing against Lille at home, and as expected, that was a tough game that ended in a 1- draw. because of that draw, Marseille has dropped to 3^rd place, but they are only 2 points away from 2^nd place. Marseille’s form has been good, and they are now undefeated in their last 7 games, but they have been inconsistent when it comes to scoring goals as of late. Payet is still the leading goalscorer for Marseille with 7 goals and 7 assists, while Under added 6 goals. The latest signing for Marseille was Kolasinac, former Arsenal’s left-back, but he is still injured. Marseille has a couple of easier games in Ligue 1 after this, but this game will be hard for them. As the best defensive team in the league, Marseille doesn’t have to be scared of anyone, even a solid offensive team like Lens, but they do need to work on their offense and get back to scoring goals.

Lens has been outstanding at home so far this season, and they have only 1 loss. Lens is also on a nice winning streak, they haven’t lost any of their last 7 home games, and they are facing a team in a bit of a slump in the attacking end. I see a tough game with a lot of fouls, and for that reason, I will take the draw.
