VfB Stuttgart is welcoming Eintracht Frankfurt to Mercedes-Benz Arena in round 21 of the German Bundesliga. Stuttgart is still struggling in Bundesliga massively, and they are still in the relegation zone, and they are in serious danger of getting relegated. Eintracht has had their moments this season, they can score goals, but their defense is not great.

Stuttgart’s biggest problem is they are unable to score goals this season and granted, they did have a lot of injures, they still do, but they did get some players back. Stuttgart has scored only 22 goals so far this season, and their defense is not good enough to compensate for that. Stuttgart has conceded 35 goals so far this season. With only 4 scored goals, Mavropanos is the leading goalscorer for Stuttgart, but now that they got Kalajdzic back, that should get better. Sosa has added 3 assists. I always like Stuttgart, and they can do a lot better than they are doing right now, and hopefully, they will. Stuttgart has to get going fast, otherwise, it might be too late for them to save themselves.

Eintracht has won their last game, but it was a friendly match against Mainz, while in Bundesliga, Eintracht hasn’t won any of their last 3 games. With 28 points, Eintracht is now in 9th place, they have scored 30 goals, but they have also conceded 30 goals. Borre is the leading goalscorer for Eintracht with 6 goals, while Kostic has added 8 assists. Ache, Komada, Kostic, and Ramaj are all injured, and that is a problem for Eintracht. The good news for Eintracht is they are still close to the Europa League, very close, and there is a lot of seasons left to be played, but unless Eintracht can get better defensively, they won’t get there. Yes, those injuries might be an issue for Eintracht, but they still have s very good roster and great players who can score goals. Eintracht was better last season in my opinion, but they are decent this year, and with a bit of luck, they might get to Europe.

In head-to-head matchups, the results are on Stuttgart’s side, but I wouldn’t count on it here. Even though neither team is playing well right now, I see goals in this one. Neither defense is doing a good job, they can’t stop the opposition, and I will take the goals here.
