Newcastle United is hosting Leicester City at St James’ Park in round 33 of the English Premier League. Newcastle has been playing mostly well lately, they have gained some distance from the relegation zone, and I think they will stay in the EPL. Leicester has also been playing well, they have qualified for the Conference League semifinals, and they are doing well in the EPL.

Newcastle is now in a solid 15th place, well solid for them, with 34 points. Their defense has improved a lot, and their offense has started producing something a few weeks ago which is why they have had a series of positive results that got them out of the relegation zone. Wilson is now the leading goalscorer for Newcastle with 6 goals, while Saint-Maximin has added 5 goals. There are still a few injuries in Newcastle, but that is something they have been struggling with the entire season. Newcastle still has some tough games to play until the end of the season, but the next season is where we will see what this team can do under new ownership, and with a few new players probably.

Leicester has also been in good form lately, they are undefeated in their last 5 games, while they are now on a 2-game winning streak. After winning their last EPL game against Crystal Palace, Leicester was traveling to Eindhoven to face PSV in the Europa League. After losing for pretty much the entire game, Leicester has scored 2 goals in the last 10 minutes of this game, and they have won 1-to 2. As far as the EPL goes, Leicester is now in 9th place, they are pretty far away from the Conference League spot or the Europa League, but if they win the Conference League this season, they will qualify for the Europa League. Jamie Vardy is still the leading goalscorer for Leicester with 10 goals, while Maddison has added 8 goals. Bertrand, Vardy, Ndidi, and Ward are all injured. Leicester is one of my favorite teams, they are always fighting, and I would love to see them winning the Conference League, and I think they have a pretty good shot at it.

I think this will be a fin game to watch, and with the form, both teams are in, I think it will be a pretty open game. I will take goals in this one, on both sides.
