Everton vs. Leicester City 4/20/22 EPL Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

Everton is welcoming Leicester to Goodison Park in round 18 of the English Premier League. Everton is still fighting for their lives this season, but they have 2 games in hand, and that could be crucial. Leicester is having a disappointing season, but they are in the Conference League semifinals.

Everton is struggling massively this season, and I know I sound like a broken record, but my god they are bad. Benitez has destroyed this season, and it’s unreasonable to expect Lampard to turn this around so quickly. Everton is outside the relegation zone right now, they are not yet safe, and they need at least 5-6 points until the end of the season to stay in the EPL. Everton is also not scoring a lot of goals, and Richarlison is their leading goalscorer with only 7 goals. Gray has added5 goals. It’s very strange seeing Everton struggling so much with the amount of talent they have, but I think they will fix this in the offseason, and I think they will be better next season, the only question is in which league.

Leicester has also been very inconsistent this season due to the injuries, covid, and some other things, but they were able to qualify for the Conference League semifinals where they will face Roma. Vardy has played only 18 games so far this season for Leicester, and yet he is their leading goalscorer with 10 goals. Barnes has added 7 assists. As usual this season, Leicester still has injuries, and this time 5 players are on the list. With 40 points, Leicester is now in 9^th place, they have scored 46 goals, while they have conceded 50 goals, and that is their biggest problem this season. I would love for Leicester to win the Conference League, I think they are an excellent club, and I think they are moving in the right direction. I expect a better next season from Leicester, and I think they will be close to the Champions League spot.

Both teams could use a win here, especially Everton who is in the fight of their lives. Leicester is in slightly better form right now, but Everton is desperate, and that is dangerous. I see goals on both sides in this one.
