Sassuolo is welcoming Juventus to Mapei Stadium in round 34 of the Italian Serie A. Sassuolo has been outstanding this season, they are scoring a ton of goals, but they are too far away from Europe. Juventus is in 4th place, but they are still in danger of losing that spot, and with that the Champions League spot as well.

Sassuolo has only 2 losses in their last 6 games, and they have failed to score on only 1 of those 9 games. Sassuolo is one of the best offensive teams in the league this season, they have scored 58 goals, but their defense is not that good. Sassuolo has conceded 53 goals, and if their defense was just a little bit better, they would have been on the Europa League spot. The schedule is not easy for Sassuolo for the rest of the season, but there is no pressure on them, and they can play carefree. Berardi is the leading goalscorer for Sassuolo with 14 goals and 12 assists, while Scamacca has added 13 goals. There are a few injured players in Sassuolo, but nobody is important. Sassuolo is doing a fantastic job, but I’m afraid they will lose at least 2 of their key players in the offseason, and that might be a massive blow to their ambitions for next season.

Juventus is now undefeated in their last 3 games, and they have qualified for the Coppa Italia finals where they will face Inter. The Serie A title is too far away from Juventus, and honestly, they don’t deserve it. As I’ve mentioned, Juventus is now in 4th place with 63 points, but Roma is only 5 points behind them in 5th place. Defensively, Juventus has been pretty solid this season with only 29 conceded goals in 33 games, but they are simply not scoring enough, even though 50 scored goals is not bad. Dybala and Morata are leading goalscorers for Juventus with 8 scored goals each, while Vlahovic has scored 6 goals. Dybala and Morata have also added 5 assists each. There are a bunch of injuries in Juventus right now, and I think they can’t wait for this season to be over. Juventus might not have a shot at winning the Serie A, but they surely can win the Coppa Italia, which will be hard because Inter is on fire right now.

Sassuolo has won only 2 games against Juventus in the past, but we usually see a lot of goals in this matchup. Sassuolo hasn’t scored in their last game, but I don’t see it happening twice. I’m taking goals on both sides.
