West Ham is welcoming Manchester City to London Stadium in round 37 of the English Premier League. West Ham is now in the Conference League spot, but they could still qualify for Europe if they win both of their last games. City is at the top, but the competition for the title is still on. With a win here, City would most likely secure the title for this season.

West Ham has finally ended their losing streak by beating Norwich last weekend, and it was a nice 0-4 win on the road. As I’ve mentioned, West Ham is now in 7th place with 55 points, but they are still pretty close to that 6th place and the Europa League. West Ham has been solid when it comes to scoring goals this season with 57 goals, and Bowen is their leading goalscorer with 10 goals and 10 assists. As far as their defense goes, West Ham is no worse than United, Arsenal, or pretty much any average EPL team, which is good. West Ham has conceded 46 goals so far this season. After this game, West Ham is playing against Brighton, and it’s more likely they will get points there than here. The injury list is short, and that will certainly give West Ham a fighting chance in this game.

After getting knocked out of the Champions League, City has bounced back nicely with 2 fantastic wins in the EPL, which kept them at the top of the table. In their last 2 games, City has scored 10 goals, while they have conceded only 1 goal, and it was against Wolverhampton. Fernardinho, Laporte, Dias, Walker, and Stones are all out for this game, which is a bad thing because that is their defense, but the way City is playing, they don’t really need defense. De Bruyne is now the leading goalscorer for City with 15 goals, while Sterling has added 13 goals. Concelo has added 9 assists. With a win here, City could potentially secure the title for this season, and that would be their only trophy this season, but it would be a big one. We know that City has signed Haaland, and maybe he will be the key for them to win the Champions League, but it will have to happen next season.

City has lost only 1 game on the road this season, and I think it will stay that way. At the moment, City is playing effectively, they are scoring a ton of goals, and they are getting the job done to win the title. I think City gets another win here, but since they are missing so much of their defense, I think they concede here.
