In their last game, Southampton was playing against Brentford on the road, and they didn’t have a good time. Southampton has lost that game 3-0. Southampton also hasn’t been scoring a lot this season, only 41 goals so far, but they have been conceding quite a lot of goals, 61 in 36 games so far this season. Ward-Prowse is the leading goalscorer for Southampton with 9 goals, while Adams added 7 goals. Redmond and Ward-Prowse each have 5 assists. There aren’t any notable injuries in Southampton as of right now. Overall, I think Southampton expected more from this season, but they are staying in the league, and that is something.

Liverpool is back on the winning streak, and in their latest game, Liverpool has won the FA Cup against Chelsea after a penalty shootout. The biggest problem for Liverpool right now is that Salah got injured in that game, Van Dijk will most likely miss this game, and Fabinho is still questionable. This is pretty much do or die game for Liverpool because if they don’t get the win, they will most likely lose the title. Salah is still the leading goalscorer for Liverpool with 22 goals and 1 assist, but he will probably sit this game out. These last 3 games of the season are crucial for Liverpool, and they have the opportunity to add 2 more trophies to their collection, and if they can win the EPL and the Champions League, they will have to win 4 trophies this season. If there is a team that can do that, it definitely is Liverpool. I think this is a fantastic team that dominates most of their games, but they are a bit ineffective lately, and they need to fix that before the Champions League finals.

Southampton is in terrible form, and they haven’t been a particularly good home team this season. Liverpool has been outstanding on the road this season, and they need a win here, and I think they will get it.
