Cornet is Burnley’s best goalscorer with 8 goals so far this season. as I’ve mentioned, even with a loss here, Burnley could stay in the league, but that is the risk they shouldn’t take with so much at stake.

Newcastle has beaten Arsenal last week, and with that, they have probably killed their Champions League dreams. Newcastle is now close to the Conference League than they are to the relegation zone thanks to that impressive second half of the season, but they need to keep doing this next season. Newcastle has improved a lot on both ends, they have scored 42 goals so far, while they have conceded 61 goals, which is a lot, but it could have been a lot worse. Most of all, Newcastle has improved as a team, and their players actually enjoy playing right now, but Wilson is their leading goalscorer with 5 goals. Saint-maximin has scored 5 goals and added 4 assists. I know Newcastle is safe, but after everything they have put their fans through, Newcastle will go for the win in this last game, and then they can focus on getting ready for next season. Newcastle has a lot of work to do, but they have the money now, and that will make everything easier.

The trends are pretty even in this matchup, but only Burnley needs something from this game. This is pretty much a do-or-die game for Burnley, but they might be lucky enough to lose this game and to still stay in the league. I’m leaning towards Newcastle here, but Burnley will press, and they might score.
