Brighton and Newcastle United face off on Saturday in an English Premier League showdown at Falmer Stadium. When these two teams faced off in March it was Newcastle that was able to secure the 2-1 victory.

Brighton & Hove Albion F.C.seem to be a real wild card this season but they sure were impressive in the last game against Manchester United. Pascal Groß is the star for this team and he scored two goals within eight minutes in the first half. As the game went on Manchester United threw everything they could at them but the only other scoring was an own goal, and the final was 2-1. Last season the biggest issue for Brighton was the attack seemed to disappear for weeks at a time, and that can’t happen again here.

On the other side of this matchup is Newcastle United who opened up their season against Nottm Forest and they looked quite dominant. Fabian Schar opened up the scoring in the 58th minute and Callum Wilson added another goal in the 78th minute. Just because Newcastle didn’t score until the 58th minute, they were dominant. They finished the game with 23 shots and 10 of those going on target. They also had 11 corners and they need to try to force the game and put pressure on in this game. This is a team that hopes that they can compete for a top seven finish, and picking up three points here will be key.

There really isn’t a good play on a side in this game because these teams seem to be so close, and it really could go either way. In the first game though, both offenses looked good, and I expect plenty of scoring chances by both teams. This could be one of those games that ends 4-3 or 3-2 and is the highest scoring game of the weekend. I am not going to be too risky, but the over is the play here. Back the over 2.5 to cash.
