Borussia Dortmund vs. Borussia M’gladbach 2/20/22 Bundesliga Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

Borussia Dortmund is welcoming Borussia M’gladbach to signal Iduna Park in round 23 of the German Bundesliga. Borussia is probably the most inconsistent team in the league this season, and in some games, they look like they could beat anyone, while in some games they look like the worst amateurs. M’gladbach has a lot of talent, but they are just not doing that well this season, on either end.

Borussia has been playing win-loss for a while now, and their latest game against Rangers in the Europa League was a loss, a terrible loss. Borussia was the home team in that match, they were dominant, but they ended up losing 2-4. As far as Bundesliga goes, Borussia is still in 2^nd place with 46 points, and even though they are only 6 points behind Bayern, they will not get there the way they are playing. Offensively, Borussia has scored 57 goals, Haaland is their leading goalscorer, but he is injured. Reus has added 7 goals for Borussia this season. Does Borussia still has a chance to qualify for the next stage, sure they do, but I’m not sure they can do it, especially in their current form.

Borussia M’gladbach is worse than Dortmund this season, but not by much, especially right now. In their last game against Augsburg, Borussia has scored 3 goals, and that was enough for a 3-2 win at home. Thanks to that win, M’gladbach has gained some distance from the relegation zone, and they are now in 13^th place in the Bundesliga standings. Borussia has scored 30 goals, and that is not nearly enough to compensate for their defense which has conceded 40 goals in 22 games. After this game, Borussia M’gladbach is playing against Wolfsburg, Stuttgart, and Hertha, and those are the game where they can expect some points. Hofmann has scored 8 goals for M’gladbach so far, while Stindl has added 5 assists, but he is injured. I expected more from Borussia M’gladbach this season, and so did they, but sometimes there is nothing you can do except working hard and try and do better.

Games between these two teams are usually eventful, and I think this one will be too. Borussia got embarrassed a couple of times over the last couple of weeks, but if they want to go to the next stage in the Europa League, they need to get back on the winning track here. I see goals in that one.
