Everton and Leicester City face off on Saturday in an English Premier League showdown at Goodison Park. When these two teams faced off on May 8th it was Everton that secured the 2-1 victory.

Leicester City currently sits in 18th place having picked up 11 points. After a terrible start to the season, Leicester City has picked up a point in three of the last four games. In the last game against Manchester City, they were competitive, but they ended up losing 1-0. They only had 35 percent of the possession, but finished with the same amount of shots on goal as Manchester City. Ryan Bertrand and Ricardo Pereira both are out for this game, and Jonny Evans is questionable for this game.

On the other side of this matchup is Everton, who sits in 12th place having picked up 14 points. It has been an up and down season for Everton, but they have picked up four points over their last two games. In the last game against Fulham, Everton couldn’t score, but the defense was strong, and the game ended in a 0-0 draw. Everton had 43 percent of the possession and four shots on goal. Everton are pretty healthy heading into this game and will only be without Yerry Mina, Ben Godfrey, and Andros Townsend. Demari Gray is expected to move back into the starting lineup in this game.

Leicester City looked good in the last game against Manchester City, and their defense should have a ton of confidence to slowdown Everton’s offense. Leicester City is also going to find a way to score a goal or two, and that will be enough to get the job done. Back Leicester City on the money line.
