Galatasaray is hosting Barcelona and Nef Stadium in the second leg of the Round of 16 in the UEFA Europa League. Galatasaray is now in good form, they have lost only 1 of their last 7 games, but they have also won only 3 of those 7 games. Barcelona has destroyed Osasuna this past weekend in LaLiga, and after they were left goalless in that first leg last week, they will not want to repeat that here.

In the Turkish Super Lig, Galatasaray is very far away from the top of the table, and they won’t get any close because they are not as good as they were the previous season. the only hope to salvage this season for Galatasaray is to focus on the Europa League, but I think that even that might not be enough for them. In the first leg of this matchup, Galatasaray was defending for probably 8 minutes of the match, and this one won’t be any different. Feghouli is the leading goalscorer for Galatasaray with only 2 goals in the Europa League so far. Galatasaray is one of the most iconic teams in Turkey, they have won a lot in their history, but that team is falling way behind from their competition, and that will change this season.

As I’ve mentioned, Barcelona couldn’t score against Galatasaray in the first leg, but they did beat Osasuna 4-0 in their next match, and I think something similar might happen here. Barcelona wants the Europa League title, and they will go for it. Overall, Barcelona’s form has improved immensely on both ends, and they will get only better. Every now and then Barcelona has those black holes that happen, but they bounce back fast. As far as the goalscoring goes for Barcelona in the Europa League, no one has scored more than 1 goal for them. Traore has 2 assists though. Barcelona’s next game in LaLiga will be a big one as they are playing against Real Madrid, but since Xavi took over, they are taking this game by game, and they safely moving forward. Barcelona has been creating more chances, they have been scoring more goals, and their defense is on the way to becoming pretty solid.

Barcelona might have been left goalless in the first leg, but there is no way this happens here. I see Barcelona dominating, and I see them being dangerous, and I see them scoring at least a few goals here to win this game.
