Verona is undefeated in their last 4 games, but they have won only 2 of those 4 games, which isn’t that bad, to be honest. No one has expected Verona to be this high in the table, and especially nobody expected them to be one of the best offensive teams in the league. Verona is now in 9^th place with 41 points, they are still within the Europa League reach, but only if they improve their defense. Verona has scored impressive 53 goals so far this season, and Simeone is their leading goalscorer with 15 goals. Barak and Caprari have added 10 goals each. Caprari has also added 7 assists. Dawidowicz, Pandur, Retsos, and Preszelik are all injured. Verona’s offense is amazing, but their defense on the other hand is terrible, and it might cost them in the end.

As I’ve mentioned, Napoli has lost to Milan at home last weekend, and it was by a goal late in a game. The biggest problem for Napoli is their overall form, and they have won only 1 of their last 6 games. With that loss against Milan, Napoli is in 3^rd place with 57 points, which is now 6 points less than Milan. Defensively, Napoli is still one of the best defensive teams in the league with 20 conceded goals, while their offense has been pretty stagnant as of late. Osimhen, Mertens, and Insigne have each scored 7 goals for Napoli, while Ruiz has added 6 goals. Insigne has added 6 assists. Napoli has been knocked out of every European competition, and that might be the chance for them to focus on Serie A and see if they can take over the top. Napoli definitely has the quality to win the title, they have the defense, and they have a solid offense, but they need to become more effective, and they don’t have a lot of time to do it.

Verona has beaten Napoli at home in the past, and they could definitely do it here considering Napoli’s form. Napoli is not allowed to drop points anymore, and that will either make them play better, or they will completely fail. I will take the goals in this one.
