Juventus is hosting Bologna at Allianz Stadium in round 33 of the Italian Serie A. Juventus is in 4th place right now, but they still have a chance at catching up to the top spot in Serie A. Bologna is still an average team that isn’t scoring a lot, and they will remain somewhere in the middle of the table until the end of the season.

After losing to Inter a couple of weeks ago, Juventus needed to bounce back, and they did against Cagliari last weekend. That was a tough game for Juventus where they were losing 1-0, but they were able to turn this game around and win all three points. Juventus has 62 points, and they are in 4th place, but the top spot is only 6 points away, and let’s be honest, Milan is not winning a lot of games. When it comes to scoring goals, Juventus is the least effective of all the top 10 teams in Serie A, which is a strange thing to see. Defensively, however, Juventus has been outstanding so far with only 28 conceded goals. After being knocked out of the Champions League, Juventus was focusing on Serie A, but they are also playing in the Coppa Italia next week against Fiorentina. Dybala and Morata are the leading goalscorers for Juventus with 8 goals each, while Vlahovic has added 5 goals. Dybala has also added 5 assists. Some important players are injured for Italy, but they will have to make it work without them if they want to have a shot at the title.

Bologna is not winning a lot of games at the moment, but they did win their last one against Sampdoria at home. It was 2-0 for Bologna. Before that, Bologna was without a win in 5 games, but luckily for them, they are safe from the relegation. Bologna is in 12th place with 37 points, 34 scored goals, and 44 conceded goals. Arnautovic is the leading goalscorer for Bologna with 11 goals, while Barrow has added 5 goals and 4 assists. There aren’t any notable injuries in Bologna right now. Even though Bologna has been very inconsistent lately, they are a good team that is hard to beat, especially at home. As I’ve mentioned, Bologna is safe from the relegation, and they are far away from the Conference League, which means they don’t have anything left to fight for, but that doesn’t mean they will just roll over and lose all their games.

The trends are heavily on Juventus’ side, and I mean heavily. Bologna has won only 2 games against Juventus going back to 1996. Juventus is in better form here, and if they want to stay in the title race, they need a win here, there is no other way. I think Juventus gets this one.
