Juventus is welcoming Torino to Allianz Stadium in round 26 of the Italian Serie A. Juventus is in great form right now, and just in time for their Champions League matchup against Villarreal next week. Torino is a great team, they are scoring a lot, they are defending well, but only at home.

With this nice run, Juventus has gotten to 4th place in Serie A, and they are once again hopeful they will secure their Champions League spot for next season. Defensively, Juventus has been solid, they have conceded 22 goals so far, but their offense hasn’t been working great, at least until Vlahovic arrived. In their last 3 games, Juventus has scored 5 goals, and they have 2 wins and a draw. Dybala is still the leading goalscorer for Juventus with 7 goals, and he also added 5 assists. There are a few injuries in Juventus, and they will definitely miss those players. As I’ve mentioned, Juventus is playing in the Champions League next week, and it will not be easy, but they are in good form right now, and that will certainly help them.

Torino hasn’t won any of their last 3 games, while in their last game against Venezia, Torino has had an early lead, but they managed to gamble it away. Torino ended up losing that game 1-2. Despite this bad streak, Torino is on right now, they are still positioned well, in 10th place with 32 points, 31 scored goals, and 25 conceded goals. The biggest problem for Torino is they are basically a different team on the road, and they haven’t been scoring a lot or defending well on the road. There are a few tough games for Torino over the next few weeks, but they also have some opponents they should beat fairly easily, especially at home. Fares and Praet are the only 2 injured players for Torino as of right now. Brekalo has been playing really well for Torino, and he is their leading goalscorer with 6 goals. Sanabria has added 5 goals. Compared to last season, Torino has improved, and I suppose it’s better to play well at home at least than not to play well at all, but I think their next mission is to gain some consistency on the road as well.

Juventus has been dominant in this matchup, and they haven’t lost to Torino in their last 17 home games. I think Juventus will win this one, but with this being a derby match, I think Torino might net one here.
