Leeds United and Arsenal face off on Sunday in an English Premier League showdown at Elland Road. When these two teams faced off on May 8th it was Arsenal that were able to secure the 2-1 victory.

Leeds United comes into this game sitting in 15th place in the standings having picked up nine points. Last Sunday, Leeds faced off against Crystal Palace, and they were defeated 2-1. Leeds opened up the scoring in the 10th minute, but they gave up goals in the 24th and 76th minutes, and that led to the defeat. Leeds had four shots on target and 45 percent of the possession. Luis Sinisterra is back from suspension, and that is great news for a team that really missed him when he wasn’t playing. Junior Firpo is dealing with an injury, but it’s expected that he’s going to be able to play.

Arsenal comes into this game sitting 1st place in the group, having picked up 24 points so far this season. Arsenal played in a tough game against Liverpool in the last one, but they were able to secure a 3-2 victory. Bukayo Saka scored two goals, including the game-winner in the 76th minute. Arsenal only had 44 percent of the possession, but they had seven shots on goal. On Thursday they played a midweek game against Bodo/Glimit and were able to win 1-0. Emile Smith Rowe and Mohamed Elneny are both dealing with injuries still, and they won’t be able to go here. Gabriel Jesus is expected to move back into the starting lineup here.

Arsenal’s offense was good last weekend against Liverpool, and they are going to continue the successful scoring here. Look for Arsenal to score at least three goals here, and this will be an easy victory. Look for Leeds to score a max of one goal, and this will be an easy victory for Arsenal. Back Arsenal -1.5 to cash.
