Maccabi Haifa vs. Juventus 10/11/22 UEFA Champions League Soccer Pick, Predictions, Odds

Maccabi Haifa and Juventus face off on Tuesday in a UEFA Champions League soccer showdown at Sammy Ofer Stadium. 

These two teams just faced off last Wednesday, and it was Juventus that came away with the 3-1 victory. Adrien Robiot started the scoring for Juventus in the 35th minute and added another goal in the 83rd minute. Dean David scored a goal in the 75ht minute by Maccabi Haifa, but it was too late as Juventus secured the win. The two teams were pretty similar in terms of possession, and they combined for 11 shots on goal. 

Juventus sits in 3rd place in the standings, having picked up three points. Juventus faced off against AC Milan over the weekend, and they were defeated 2-0. They gave up 21 shots total and the constant pressure was too much. They did finish with 61 percent of the possession and three shots on target. Angel Di Maria should move back into the starting lineup, and they are going to need him to be good here. Mattia De Sciglio is dealing with a thigh injury, and he won’t be able to go in this game. Paul Pogba and Federico Chiesa are also out because of injuries. 

Maccabi Haifa comes into this game sitting 4th place in the group, having picked up zero points. Over the weekend they faced off against Maccabi Bnei Raina, and they didn’t look great in that game either, and they were defeated 1-0. Mahmoud Jaber and Suf Podgoreanu are both dealing with injuries, and they aren’t going to be able to go in this game.  

Juventus only gave up two goals against AC Milan in the last game, but their defense looked awful, and they are going to struggle to defend here. Last Wednesday, the final score was 3-1, but I expect Juventus to give up at least two goals here. This is going to be a game where four or five goals are scored and the over will cash.
