Maccabi Haifa vs. PSG 9/14/22 UEFA Champions League Soccer Pick, Predictions, Odds

Maccabi Haifa and PSG face off on Wednesday in a UEFA Champions League Group H soccer showdown at Sammy Ofer Stadium. 

PSG currently sits in 1st place in the standings, having picked up two points so far this season. Paris Saint-Germain opened up the Champions League against Juventus, and they were able to secure the 2-1 victory. Kylian Mbappé was the star of the show, scoring a goal in the 5th and 22nd minute, and that led to the easy victory. PSG had 58 percent of the possession and six shots on goal. On Saturday, against PSG, they were able to come away with a 1-0 victory over Brest. The good news for PSG is they are very healthy coming into this game, but they are still missing a few players.  Renato Sanches is dealing with an abductor injury, and he won’t be able to go in this game. 

On the other side of this matchup is Maccabi Haifa, and they sit in 3rd place in the standings having picked up zero points. In the first Champions League game, Maccabi Haifa faced off against Benfica, and they were defeated 2-0. They only had 43 percent of the possession, and they only had two shots on target. Over the weekend on Sunday, Maccabi Haifa was able to secure the 3-1 victory. Ali Mohamed left the last Champions League game early, and he isn’t expected to be able to go in this game. In his place is expected to be Mohammed Abu Fani, and he will be a key in this game. 

Maccabi isn’t going to have many scoring chances here, and their defense isn’t going to find a lot of success either here. Look for PSG to score three or four goals here, and this game is going to be a blowout victory here. Back PSG to have no issue getting the job done here, and the -2.5 will cash.
