Manchester City and Brighton face off on Saturday in an English Premier League showdown at Etihad Stadium. When these two teams faced off on April 20th it was Manchester City that secured the 3-0 victory.

Manchester City comes into this game sitting in second place in the group having picked up 23 points. Manchester City is having a big season, but they are coming off a loss in the last game. Man City couldn’t get on the board against Liverpool, and that led to the 1-0 defeat. Manchester City had 64 percent of the possession and six shots on target. Liverpool only had two shots and 36 percent of the possession. John Stones looks to be healthy and should be good to go in this game. Kyle Walker and Kalvin Phillips are both dealing with injuries, and won’t be able to go in this game.

On the other side of this matchup is Brighton, who sits in 8th place in the standings having picked up 15 points. In the last game against Nottingham Forest, Brighton couldn’t get on the board, but the defense gave up zero goals, and it was a draw. Two games ago against Brentford the game ended in a 2-0 draw. Kaoru Mitoma and Jakob Moder are both dealing with injuries, and they won’t be able to go in this game. Adam Lallana started in the last game, and he’s expected to play again in this game.

Manchester City’s offense showed some holes in the last game, and they aren’t going to run up the score again here. Brighton isn’t going to get on the board, and they are going to go in a defensive shape to try to pick up a draw. This game is going to end 1-0 or 2-0 and the under will cash.
