Argentina faced off in the first game of the knockout stage against Australia, and they were able to secure the 2-1 victory. Lionel Messia scored in the 36th minute and Julian Alverez scored in the 57th minute on the way to the victory. Argentina had 61 percent of the possession and five shots on target. Papu Gomez suffered a sprained ankle in the last game, and it’s expected that he’s going to miss this game. Angel Di Maria is dealing with a quad injury, and it’s expected that he’s going to be able to go in this game. In this game, Argentina is going to need the offense to be strong. 

There is going to be no shortage of scoring in this game. The Netherlands have a ton of talent on the front line, and they are going to run up the score here.
