PSG is welcoming Stade Brestois to Parc des Princes in round 21 of the French Ligue 1. PSG is missing a ton of players, and they are still struggling when it comes to scoring goals. Brest is an average team in France, probably not even that, and they are now without a win in their last 3 Ligue 1 games.

PSG might be undefeated in their last 9 games, but they have 4 draws during that streak. PSG is still at the top of the table, but their lead is melting due to them not being able to score a goal. As I’ve mentioned, PSG has a lot of injuries and covid cases. Neymar, Hakimi, Diallo, Gueye, and Lettelier will miss this game, while Messi is still questionable, but I doubt he will play. As far as scoring goals go, Mbappe is PSG’s top goalscorer with 10 goals and 9 assists. The biggest problem for PSG is that apart from Mbappe, no one else scoring goals, and that is something PSG is missing this season. That issue was supposed to be fixed with Messi, but he just can’t get used to playing in France, and hopefully, that will change soon.

Brest has had a great start to the season, and that is the only reason why they are outside the relegation zone. With 25 points, Brest is now in 13th place, they have scored a solid 26 goals, but they have conceded 31 goals. As I’ve mentioned, Brest is without a win in their last 3 Ligue 1 games, but their form is decent overall. Faivre has scored 7 goals for Brest so far, while Honorat added 6 goals. Faivre has also added 3 assists. There are a few injuries in Brest as well, but nothing too terrible. I know that Brest is decent overall, but I think they are overperforming, and even though they are outside the relegation zone right now, that doesn’t mean they will stay there. The competition at the bottom of the table is strong, and, and there is plenty of time left for any team to get out. I think that Brest will stay in the league, but it will be a battle for them, a battle which they will need to win.

PSG has never lost to Brest, and out of 12 meetings between these two teams, PSG has won 11, while 1 game ended in a draw. I think Brest is more than capable of scoring a goal here, and I think they will, but I see PSG winning.
