Real Marid vs. Deportivo Alaves 2/19/22 LaLiga Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

Real Madrid is welcoming Deportivo Alaves to Santiago Bernabeu in round 25 of the Spanish LaLiga. Real Madrid is pretty dominant in LaLiga, they are at the top, but they got embarrassed in the Champions League earlier this week. Deportivo is not a good team, and even though they got a win in their last game, I don’t see it lasting for long.

As I’ve mentioned, Real Madrid got destroyed by PSG in the Champions League, and I think they can be happy it ended only 1-0 for PSG because believe me, it could have been a lot worse. As far as LaLiga goes, Real is still at the top of the table, but only 4 points ahead of Sevilla who are playing really well. The best news of the week for Real is that Benzema is back for this game, and he will be back to his old goalscoring ways. Benzema leads Real Madrid with 17 goals and 7 assists, while Vinicius has 11 goals and 5 assists. Real is a great team, but apart from Benzema and Vinicius, there is not much else going on when it comes to scoring goals, and they will need someone else to step up.

Alaves is now in 18^th place, which is in the relegation zone, but there is enough of the season left for them to get out of it. Deportivo has scored measly 19 goals in 24 games, while they conceded 39 goals, and that is simply not good enough to have a better season. The only bright spot for Alaves is Joselu who is their leading goalscorer with 12 goals, and he will once again be in the starting lineup. Of course, there is no easy game for Alaves, but there are some easier games ahead for them, but unfortunately, Alaves can’t count on points in any of them without putting in the work, a lot of hard work. Alaves is good enough to get out of the relegation zone, but the competition is strong at the bottom of the table.

After losing to PSG, Real Madrid has to step up, and I think they will. It’s hard to find value on anything when we have such a big favorite playing, but I like Real Madrid to score in both halves.
