Roma is a very good team, but a very inconsistent team, and honestly, they don’t look like they can hold their own. Verona is a fantastic offensive team, one of the best in the league, but it’s too bad their defense is keeping them down.

Roma is now without a win in their last 3 games, but the good news I suppose is they have lost only 1 of their last 6 games. In the Serie standings, Roma is now in 7^th place with 40 points, they have scored 42 goals, while they have conceded 32 goals. In the Conference League, Roma has won their group, and they will soon play a game in that competition as well. Tammy Abraham is the leading goalscorer for Roma with 11 goals, while Pellegrini has added 6 goals and 6 assists. Spinazzola and Ibanez are the only two injured for Roma. There are some tough games for Roma ahead, and with the way they are playing this season, I’m not sure we can expect some good things from Roma.

When I said Verona is one of the best offensive teams in the league, I meant it. Verona has scored impressive 47 goals in 25 games, but they have also conceded 40 goals, which is the main reason why they are not higher in the standings. I guess if you can’t fix your defense, getting the better offense is the way to go, and Verona is doing it. With 36 points, Verona is in 9^th place in the Serie A standings, and they are still fairly close to the Conference League. There are a few injuries in Verona at the moment, but those players have been injured in a while. Giovanni Simeone is the leading goalscorer for Verona with 12 goals, and he has been one of the best strikers in Serie A this season. As far as the schedule goes for Verona, it’s not bad, and honestly, Verona doesn’t need to be scared of anyone, all they need to do is play their game, and they will be fine.

The trends are heavily on Roma’s side in this matchup, but with their sloppy defense, I don’t dare siding with them. I think Verona will be dangerous in this game, I think they will create some chances, and I think they will score here. I’m taking goals on both sides.
