Sevilla vs. Elche CF 2/11/22 LaLiga Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

Sevilla is hosting Elche at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in round 24 of the Spanish LaLiga. Sevilla is now on a 3-game draw streak in LaLiga, and they are kind of struggling when it comes to scoring goals. Elche is on a nice roll, they have been playing well on both ends, but they are not scoring goals on the road.

Sevilla is still in 2^nd place in LaLiga standings with 47 points, and they are now 6 points behind Real Madrid. Still, Sevilla is the best defensive team in the league with only 16 conceded goals, but they need to get their offense going as soon as possible. Rafa Mir is still the leading goalscorer for Sevilla with 6 goals, while Ocampos has added 5 goals. There are a few injuries in Sevilla, and they could certainly use some of those players. Sevilla has signed Martial from Manchester United last week, and even though he hasn’t been playing a lot, he will be a nice addition to this team. Sevilla needs to get back on the winning track because they are playing in the Europa League next week, and even though they are stronger than Dinamo Zagreb, that will not be an easy game for them.

As I’ve mentioned, Elche has been playing well as of late, and they have lost only 1 of their last 7 games. Thanks to this nice streak, Elche has gained some distance from the relegation zone, and they are now in 14^th place with 26 points. Offensively, Elche is averaging just over 1 scored goal per game, but they are scoring way less on the road than they are at home. The defense hasn’t been bad for Elche, but 31 conceded goals in 23 games are still too much if you want to accomplish something in the season. Milla and Boye have each scored 7 goals for Elche so far this season, while Mojica added 4 assists. The good news for Elche is they have only 1 injured player, and that is Ponce. There are no easy games for Elche, but they are playing against Sevilla, Rayo Vallecano, and Barcelona over the next couple of weeks, and they will need to stay on top of their game to get some points.

Sevilla hasn’t won any of their last 4 games, but they are still one of the best teams in the league. Sevilla also hasn’t lost any of their last 7 home games. We have seen goals in this matchup in the past, and because of Elche’s good form, I think they might get on the scoreboard here.
