Sevilla vs. Real Madrid 4/17/22 LaLiga Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

Sevilla and Real Madrid are clashing at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in round 32 of the Spanish LaLiga. Sevilla is back on the winning track, theoretically, they still have a chance to win the title, but they need to get through Real here first. Real Madrid is doing well in LaLiga, and they have gotten really lucky in the Champions League, but they are in the semifinals.

Sevilla was struggling there for a while, they lost a derby against Barcelona after they got knocked out of the Europa League, but they have beaten Granada last weekend in LaLiga. With 60 points, Granada is now in 3^rd place, they have scored a solid 44 goals, but their defense is their best trait. Sevilla has conceded only 22 goals so far this season. Sevilla has some tough games to play until the end of the season, but with their defense, they don’t have to be afraid of anyone. Rafa Mir is still the leading goalscorer for Sevilla with 9 goals, while Ocampos has added 6 goals. Rakitic has added 4 assists. The injury list is still pretty long for Sevilla, but they will need to make do with what they have. Overall, Sevilla has been great on both ends this season, but they have had a few black holes which cost them a few points, and probably the title as well.

Real Madrid is on fire, especially in LaLiga where they are at the top, but they have also had an interesting game in the Champions League earlier this week. Real Madrid has won the first leg 3-1, but they were on their knees in the second leg because Chelsea was leading 3-0 until the 80^th minute. In the overtime, Benzema has scored a nice goal, and Real Madrid has advanced on aggregate. In the semifinals, Real Madrid will face Manchester City, and that will be the matchup to enjoy. As I’ve mentioned, Real Madrid is at the top of the table, they have a 12-point advantage, but anything is possible until the end of the season. Benzema has scored 24 goals and has added 10 assists so far this season, and he is the best player in the league this season. Vinicius has added 14 goals and 7 assists. Hazard is now the only injured, but not that it matters since he has been injured pretty much all the time. I think Real Madrid will win the title, as much as it pains me to say, but we will see if they can win the Champions League as well.

Sevilla is undefeated at home so far this season, but they are now facing Real Madrid which is on fire. I think this will be a hard game, but I’m being drawn towards the draw, and I will give it a shot.
