Spezia is hosting Roma at Stadio Alberto Picco in round 27 of the Italian Serie A. Spezia is a bad defensive team, they have conceded 48 goals in 26 games, while they are also not a great offensive team. Roma hasn’t won any of their last 4 games, but they are still a good team, and they can certainly win this game.

Spezia is winless in their last 3 games, but just before that they have won 3 games in a row. Thanks to that streak, Spezia has gotten out of the relegation zone, and they are now in 16th place with 26 points. As I’ve mentioned, Spezia is not a great offensive team, and they have scored only 28 goals. Spezia might be out of the relegation zone right now, but there is still a lot of season left for them to mess it up. Verde is the best player for Spezia with 5 goals and 4 assists, and he is expected to be in the starting lineup in this game as well. Sena and Sher are both injured for Spezia at the moment. Spezia has some very tough games ahead of them, and it’s a shame their form from a few weeks ago is gone, but maybe they can turn it around.

Roma hasn’t been playing well lately, and Mourinho doesn’t seem to be doing the right things to fix it. Roma is without a win in their last 4 games, while they have drawn Vitesse in the Conference League. As far as Serie A goes, Roma is now in 8th place with 41 points, and they are still very close to the Europa League, or even the Champions League, but they will only get there if they start winning some games. Of the 44 goals Roma has scored, Abraham has scored 11, and he is their leading goalscorer. Pellegrini has added 6 goals and 6 assists. Spinazzola, Ibanez, Mkhitaryan, Perez, Shomuradov, and Boer are all injured. After this game, Roma is playing against Atalanta, and they better get to that game in good form, otherwise, there might a hell to pay. Roma is a team with a lot of talented players, but they haven’t been showing it lately, and it has cost them a lot of points already. I think Roma must go back to the basics, focus more on the defensive end, and with that, goals will come.

Of the 5 games these two teams have played against each other, each team has won 2 games, while 1 game ended in a draw. Roma certainly is the better team here, but they are not in good form, and that might be bad for them. Spezia is nothing special, but they could be a tough team to beat at home, but I will still side with Roma on the money line.
