Torino is hosting Napoli at Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino in round 36 of the Italian Serie A. Torino is in excellent form right now, but it’s unfortunate that form hasn’t arrived a bit sooner. Napoli is out of the title race, which is sad because they are one of the best teams in Italy this season.

Torino is now undefeated in their last 6 games, they have been scoring a lot of goals, but they are still conceding goals as well. With 47 points, Torino is now in 10th place, which is not bad, but I think they will be aiming for one of the European spots next season. Offensively, Torino is solid with 45 scored goals, but their defense has been much better with only 37 conceded goals in 35 games. Belotti is leading Torino with 8 goals despite being injured for half of the season. Brekalo and Sanabria have added 6 goals each. Torino is a solid team, they have a few great players, but they need to improve their offense, and they will do that by signing some new players in the offseason.

Napoli has won only 1 of their last 4 games, and because of that, they are out of the title race. Theoretically, Napoli could still reach the top, but that would mean Napoli has to win all of their games, while Milan and Inter can’t win any points for the rest of the season. with 67 scored goals, Napoli is among the best offensive teams in the league, and Osimhen is their leading goalscorer with 13 goals. Insigne has added 10 goals and 9 assists, while Mertens has 11 goals. Napoli was doing really well in most of the first half of the season, but after that they became inconsistent, and they dropped too many points all over the place. The defense that Napoli had at the start of the season disappeared, and that has cost Napoli the title.

Napoli has lost only 2 games on the road so far this season, while Torino has been pretty solid at home so far. I think this will be a fun game as there is no pressure on either team and with both of them playing in solid form, I see goals. I’m leaning towards Torino here, but I will take the goals.
