West Ham United and Brentford face off on Friday in an English Premier League showdown at London Stadium. When these two teams faced off on April 10th the game ended in a 2-0 win for Brentford.

West Ham United currently sits in 16th place in the standings, having picked up 14 points. On Monday, West Ham faced off against Arsenal, and that game ended in a 3-1 defeat. West Ham actually opened up the scoring in the 27th minute with a penalty shot by Said Benrahama. They gave up three goals after the 53rd minute, though, and that led to the defeat. Kurt Zouma is coming back from a knee injury, and although he will be back soon, it isn’t expected that he’s going to be able to go in this game. Gianluca Scamacca is dealing with an ankle injury, but it’s expected that he might be able to go in this game. Maxwell Cornet is dealing with a calf injury and won’t be able to go in this game.

Brentford comes into this game sitting in 10th place in the standings having picked up 20 points. Brentford faced off against Tottenham on Monday and that game ended in a 2-2 draw. They had a 2-0 lead after Ivan Toney scored in the 54th minute, but they gave up two goals after the 65th minute and ended up only picking a point. Kristoffer Ajer and Aaron Hickey are both still dealing with injuries, and they won’t be able to play in this game. Frank Onyeka is close to returning from injury and if he passes a late fitness test, he will be able to go in this game. Shandon Baptiste is dealing with an adductor injury and won’t be able to play in this gmae.

Both teams are coming off a game where there were plenty of goals scored, and it’s going to be no different in this game. Brentford scored two goals in the last game, and they are going to find success scoring here. West Ham also scored a goal in the last game, and there will be plenty of scoring in this game. Look for this game to finish 2-1 or 2-2 and this game is going to go over the total.
