West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur face off on Wednesday in an English Premier League showdown at London Stadium. When these two teams faced off on March 20th, it was Tottenham that was able to secure the 3-1 victory.

The only blemish on the record for Tottenham was against Chelsea, and in that game, they played to a 2-2 draw. Even though they didn’t pick up the three points, they were happy about picking up one. In the last game against Nottingham Forest, the offense scored two goals and that led to the victory. Harry Kane scored a goal in the 5th minute and added the dagger in the 81st minute. They only had 44 percent of the possession, but outshot their opponent 7-1 on the way to the victory. Harry Kane is having a big season for Tottenham, scoring four goals. Cristian Romero and Oliver Skipp are both back in training and both guys are expected to be ready to go for this game. 

On the other side of this matchup is West Ham United, who sit in 16th place in the standings having picked up three points. West Ham got out to a slow start to the season, but they are coming off a victory. Pablo Fornals scored a goal in the 74th minute for West Ham and that was enough to secure the victory against Aston Villa. West Ham only had 42 percent of the possession and were outshot in the game. So far this season, the only goal scored for West Ham was in the last game, and they need to find a way to get the offense going here. Nayef Aguerd was a big off-season addition, but he’s still dealing with an ankle injury and won’t be available for this game. 

West Ham is coming off a victory in the last game, but they still only scored one goal, and the biggest issue for this team all season has been with the offense. I expect they are going to struggle to score again here, and that is going to lead to a lower-scoring game. Tottenham will struggle against the West Ham defense, and the under is going to cash.
