Bayern Munich vs. Barcelona 9/13/22 UEFA Champions League Soccer Pick, Predictions, Odds

Bayern Munich and Barcelona face off on Tuesday in a Group C Champions League soccer game at Allianz Arena.

Barcelona is tied for first place in Group C having picked up three points. Barcelona opened up their Champions League with a 5-1 victory over Viktoria Plzen in the first game. Robert Lewandowski was the star of the show and finished the game with three goals. Barcelona had 77 percent of the possession and 11 shots on target. Barcelona faced off against Cadiz on Saturday, and they were able to secure the 4-0 victory. Sergi Roberto missed the last game, but he is expected to be available to go in this game, although it’s unclear if he is going to be included in the starting lineup. It appears the rest of the squad is healthy, and this should mostly be a full-strength team.

On the other side of this matchup is Bayern Munich, who is tied for first place in the standings in the group, having picked up three points. Bayern opened up their Champions League against Inter Milan, and they were able to secure the 2-0 victory. Leroy Sané scored a goal in the 20th minute, and Danilo D’Ambroiso also added a goal in the 66th minute. Bayern Munich doesn’t have a ton of injury issues coming into this game, but they will be without Kingsley Coman and Bouna Sarr who are both still dealing with injuries. Mane is also expected to be moved to center-back. In this game, the offense is going to need to be good.

It’s hard to bet against Bayern at home, and I’m not about to do it here. Look for Barcelona to struggle to score against their defense and that is going to be the difference here as Bayern is going to get the job done. Bayern might only score one goal, but it will be enough to secure the victory. Back Bayern Munich on the money line.
