France vs. Denmark 11/26/22 World Cup Soccer Picks, Predictions, Odds

France and Denmark face off on Saturday in a World Cup Group D soccer showdown at Stadium 974.

France comes into this game sitting in 1st place in the group having picked up three points. France opened up the World Cup with a pretty convincing win over Australia. France actually gave up a goal in the 9th minute to Australia, and there was some concern. The offense really found success, and it was Adrien Rabiot that opened up the scoring in the 27th minute. Olivier Giroud scored in the 32nd and 71st minute. Kylian Mbappé also scored in the 68th minute. France has been dealing with all kind of injuries, and now they’re going to be without Lucas Hernandez, who suffered an injury in their first game against Australia. His brother, Theo Hernandez, will be moving into the starting lineup.

On the other side of this matchup is Denmark who sit in 3rd place in the group having picked up one point. Denmark faced off with Tunisia and the game ended in a 0-0 draw. Denmark dominated the game, finishing with 62 percent of the possession and five shots on target, but they couldn’t find the back of the net. Thomas Delaney suffered a knee injury in the last game, and he also will be out the rest of the World Cup. Outside of that injury, though, Denmark is healthy heading into this game. In this game, Denmark is going to need the defense to have a big game.

This France squad opened up some eyes with their first game, and they are going to find success again in this game. This Denmark team is going to put no pressure on with their offense, and I don’t think their defense is going to be finding a lot of success either. Look for France to score two or three goals, and they will get the job done here. Back France -1.5 to cash.
