Greuther Furth vs. Borussia Dortmund 5/7/22 Bundesliga Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

Greuther Furth is welcoming Borussia Dortmund to Sportpark Ronhof Thomas Sommer in round 33 of the German Bundesliga. Furth is the last place, they have only 18 points, and they are getting relegated. Borussia is in second place, but since they can’t catch up to Bayern, there is no pressure on them, and they are playing only for their pride.

Furth has won only 2 games so far this season, they have 9 draws and 20 losses, and it doesn’t really matter if they are playing at home or on the road. With the terrible defense they have, I’m surprised Furth has collected 18 points, and if we add their bad offense to that, I’m not even sure how Furth got those 3 wins. Furth has scored only 26 goals so far, while they have conceded a massive 77 goals, which is an average of over 2 conceded goals per game. Hrgota is the leading goalscorer for Furth with 9 goals. There isn’t much more to say about Furth, except, good luck in Bundesliga 2 next season.

Borussia has been outstanding with scoring goals this season, they have scored 80 of them so far, but if they could have been defending at least half as good as they are scoring, they would have won the title. Dortmund will most likely end this season in 2nd place, and they will qualify for the Champions League. Of the 80 goals Borussia has scored so far, Haaland has scored 21 goals, while Reaus added 9 goals and 10 assists. The last two games for Borussia this season will be on the easier side, and these are the last two games for Haaland as well. Haaland was outstanding for this team, and he will be leaving the club this summer. Of course, Borussia still has a ton of injuries, but the good news is the season is over. Borussia just couldn’t keep up with Bayern, despite Bayern being a terrible defensive team this season, but maybe they will be able to next season.

Borussia has been perfect in this matchup with 5 wins in 5 games, and they will stay perfect. I see Borussia dominating and creating a lot of chances in this one, and I see them scoring a few goals on their own.
