Manchester United vs. Manchester City 11/6/21 Premier League Soccer Pick, Odds, and Predictions

Manchester United and Manchester City face off on Saturday in the Manchester Derby in an English Premier League game at Old Trafford. When these two teams faced off in March, Manchester United won 2-0.

Manchester City currently sits in 3rd place in the English Premier League standings having picked up 20 points. Even though Manchester City has played well, they are coming off a bad loss in their last game against Crystal Palace. Manchester City had 68 percent of the possession, but couldn’t find the back of the net. Aymeric Laponte picked up a red card in that game, and won’t be available for this game. They did have a midweek game against Club Brugge, and Manchester City were able to win 4-1. Manchester City has scored 20 goals while the defense has given up six goals total. Phil Foden has been the top player for Manchester City scoring three goals. Six different players have scored two goals.

On the other side of this matchup is Manchester United who sits in 5th place in the standings having picked up 17 points. Manchester United has been inconsistent but their last Premier League game was a win. Against Tottenham, Manchester United scored three goals and that was the difference. Cristiano Ronaldo opened up the scoring in that game in the 39th minute. Manchester United has scored 19 goals total while the defense has given up 15 goals total. Bruno Fernandes has been the top player for Manchester United scoring four goals and adding three assists. Mason Greenwood and Ronaldo have also scored four goals.

Even though Manchester United won the last game, this is a team that really can’t be trusted. Too often they have fallen behind, and that is going to continue in this game. Look for Manchester City to get an early goal, and they will win this game.
