Norwich City and Leicester City face off on Saturday in an English Premier League showdown at Carrow Road. The last time these two teams faced off was in February of 2020 and it was Norwich City that was able to come away with the 1-0 victory.
Norwich City has gotten out to a slow start to the season and they have lost each of their two games. In the first game of the season, Norwich City lost to Liverpool 3-0 and in the last game against Manchester City, Norwich City was defeated 5-0. In the last game against Manchester City, Norwich City really struggled to control the pace of play and the ball. Norwich City only managed one shot and that shot didn’t go on goal. Norwich City managed only 33 percent of the possession and that led to the loss. Norwich City did play a midweek game in the EFL Cup and Norwich City was able to come away with a 6-0 victory over Bournemouth. In this game, Norwich City needs to get their offense going early.
On the other side of this matchup is Leicester City who have picked up three points so far this season. Leicester City opened up the season with a 1-0 victory over the Wolves, before losing to West Ham 4-1 in the last game. Jamie Vardy was the goal scorer in the first game Youri Tielemans was the goal scorer in the last game. Leicester City has a lot of goal scorers on this team, and this game is going to be about the offense being strong early. If they can get the first goal, that will go a long way in Leicester City getting the job done.
Leicester City’s offense is going to run up the score in this game and they will have no issue getting the job done. Leicester City is going to win this game on the money line. I will also be laying a few dollars on Leicester City to win this game -1.
