Poland vs. Sweden 3/29/22 UEFA World Cup Qualifications Playoffs Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

Poland and Sweden are clashing at Silesian Stadium in the finals of the UEFA World Cup Qualifications playoffs. Poland didn’t play in the semifinals because Russia got kicked out, but that might be the advantage for them here. Sweden has beaten the Czech Republic in the semifinals, but only after overtime.

Poland is a very good team, with the best striker in the world, but it’s too bad his support cast is not as good as Lewandowski is. Poland did play a friendly game against Scotland last week, and it ended in a 1-1 draw. the good news for Poland is they are playing this game at home, and with this being a single-leg matchup, they need to make the most of it. Lewandowski is of course the leading goalscorer for Poland with 8 goals, while Buksa and Swiderski have added 5 goals each. The roster looks good for Poland, they don’t have any notable injuries, and this is the game they need to win to get to the World Cup. I’m sure Poland will have huge support from their fans, they have their best players available, and they will do everything they can to get to the World Cup.

Sweden was playing against the Czech Republic at home in their semifinals game, and they were a slightly better team, but not enough to win that game in the 90 minutes. Once the overtime started, Sweden was even more dominant, and in the 110th minute, Sweden has scored a winning goal. Sweden will also get Ibrahimovic back for this game, and that will certainly be another nice boost for this team. The bad news for Sweden is they are playing this game on the road, and the fact they had to play the overtime against the Czech Republic could be a bit problematic here. Sweden isn’t the team that is scoring a lot of goals, and Isak is their leading goalscorer with 4 goals. I think Sweden definitely has the quality to win this game, and their defense is outstanding, but that defense will be out up to test against the best striker in the world in this game. I know Sweden is getting Ibrahimovic back, but that might not be enough.

The most recent meeting between these two teams has ended in a 3-2 win for Sweden, but I think this will be a bit different because the World Cup is at stake. I kinda wanna see Poland getting to the World Cup because of Lewandowski, but I also wanna see Ibrahimovic at the World Cup as well. I will go with goals in this one.
