RB Leipzig vs. FC Koln 2/11/22 Bundesliga Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

RB Leipzig is welcoming FC Koln to Red Bull Arena in round 22 of the German Bundesliga. Leipzig lost to Bayern last weekend, but they have a good game, and they have improved immensely since the coaching change. Koln is not a bad team, they were able to beat Freiburg and keep a clean sheet last weekend, but this will be a tough game for them.

With a win in this game, Leipzig will be back in the top 4, and even though it would be probably only for a day, it would still feel nice. Offensively, Leipzig has been quite solid so far with 40 scored goals, but unfortunately for Leipzig, most of these goals were at home. Defensively, Leipzig is good also at home, but they are improving. Nkunku is still playing great, and he now has 10 goals and 7 assists. Andre Silva has also improved as of late, and he has 9 goals to his name. Halstenberg and Raebiger are both injured. Leipzig is also playing in the Europa League next week where they will face Real Sociedad, who are in bad form right now fortunately for Leipzig. I think this is a great team, yes, they have lost some players before the season, but they are still capable of playing really well, at least in the attacking end.

Koln is actually higher in the standings than Leipzig, and after being without a win for a few games, they bounced back nicely against Freiburg last weekend. Koln’s defense has been trending downwards lately, and their offense has had a tough time picking up the slack. When it comes to scoring goals, there is no one better than Modeste in Koln, and he has 14 goals to his name so far this season. Schmitz has added 4 assists. The bad news for Koln is that Modeste is now injured, and he will most likely miss this game. Koln is on the verge of the Europa League zone, and even the Champions League spot is within the reach, but for that to come true, Koln must improve on the defensive end. There are a few easier games ahead for Koln, but they need to remain focused all the way because the competition is strong in Bundesliga this season. I love seeing smaller teams being high on the table, and I am especially glad to see Koln where they are right now.

This is the game where I expect the goals, and I think we will see them on both sides. Koln might have not been playing well defensively, but they can score goals. Leipzig is the better team here, but I think both teams to score.
