Real Madrid vs. RB Leipzig 9/14/22 UEFA Champions League Soccer Pick, Predictions, Odds

Real Madrid and RB Leipzig face off on Wednesday in a UEFA Champions League Group F showdown at Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid comes into this game sitting in 1st place in Group F having picked three points. Real Madrid faced off against Celtic in the first game of the Champions League, and they were able to win that game 3-0. Real Madrid didn’t score until the 56th minute, but they scored another two goals after that first goal. Real Madrid had six shots on goal and 65 percent of the possession. Real Madrid is pretty healthy coming into this game, but they will be without Karim Benzema and Eder Militao who are both dealing with injuries. Lucas Vazquez is also dealing with a thigh injury and isn’t expected to be able to go in this game.

On the other side of this matchup is RB Leipzig who sits in 3rd place in the standings having picked up zero points. RB Leipzig’s first game was against Shakhtar Donetsk, and they looked awful in that game. The defense gave up four goals and that led to the 4-1 defeat. They had 68 percent of the possession but only managed two shots on goal and that led to the defeat. Leipzig’s last game came against Dortmund and that led to the 3-0 victory. RB Leipzig is pretty healthy coming into this game, but they will be without Lukas Klostermann and Dani Olmo who are both dealing with injuries. If Leipzig wants to get the job done, they are going to need to be the difference better.

RB Leipzig really looked impressive in the last game against Dortmund, scoring three goals, and I expect they are going to continue the offensive success in this game. Real Madrid will also find a way to score a couple of goals, and this game is going to be higher scoring. Back the over 3.5 to cash here.
