Sampdoria vs. Juventus 3/12/22 Serie A Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

Sampdoria is welcoming Juventus to Luigi Ferraris in round 29 of the Italian Serie A. Sampdoria has had some positive results lately, and that will certainly help them stay in Serie A, but they need more. Juventus has joined the title run, but they have the Champions League game next week.

Sampdoria is now in 15th place with 26 points, and their offense has been solid with 36 scored goals, so far this season, but their defense has been garbage. Sampdoria has conceded 48 goals already this season, and they are one of the worst defensive teams in the league. In their last 6 games, Sampdoria has 4 losses and 2 wins, and their schedule is not getting much easier over the next few weeks. Gabbiadini and Caputo have each scored 7 goals for Sampdoria, but Gabbiadini is injured. Candreva has also added 7 goals and 7 assists. Damsgaard is also still injured, while Murru is suspended because of the yellow cards. Overall, I think Sampdoria can do more, but they are a solid team that can win games, and they will be staying in Serie A.

Juventus is now undefeated in their last 11 games, while they have won their last 3 games in a row, and they are also playing in the Coppa Italia semifinals. As far as Juventus’ injuries go, Chiesa, Chiellini, McKennie, Jorge, and Zakaria are injured, while Bernardeschi is suspended. There are still some questionable players in Juventus who will miss this game just so they can be ready for the Champions League next week. Dybala is the leading goalscorer for Juventus with 7 goals, while Morata has added 6 goals. The newcomer, Vlahovic, has been playing really well since his arrival, and I see that form continuing. I keep mentioning that Champions League game next week, ad they will be facing Villarreal at home in that match. The first leg of that matchup ended in a 1-1 draw, but even though Juventus is playing at home, they can’t relax because Villarreal is a great team.

Sampdoria is a solid offensive team, they can score goals, and now that Juventus is missing a lot of players, and might even rest some, Sampdoria could get on the scoreboard here. I will take a goal on each side.
