Sevilla vs. RCD Mallorca 5/11/22 LaLiga Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

Sevilla is hosting RCD Mallorca at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in round 36 of the Spanish LaLiga. Sevilla is yet to secure their Champions League spot for next season, and I think they might do it here. Mallorca is one of the weakest defensive teams in the league, which is why it’s not strange they are in the relegation zone.

Sevilla is in 3rd place now, but they haven’t won any of their last 2 games, and the pressure from behind them is pretty strong. With 29 conceded goals, Sevilla is a great defensive team, but they have also scored quite a few goals, 51 in total. In their last 2 games after this one, Sevilla has a couple of hard games, one of which is against Atletico Madrid, the team that is chasing them. There are a couple of injuries in Sevilla, but nothing major. Rafa Mir is still the leading goalscorer for Sevilla with 9 goals. Sevilla has a ton of potential which they weren’t able to use, and they will now lose a few players in the offseason, but overall, I think Sevilla is a good team that can beat anyone.

As I’ve mentioned, Mallorca is one of the worst defensive teams in the league with 62 conceded goals, and they are also not scoring a lot, with 32 goals in 35 games. Mallorca is still very close to the safe zone, they are in 18th place with 32 points, while Cadiz has 35 points. These few final games of this season will be very hard for Mallorca, but maybe they can pull a rabbit out of their hats. The injuries have been a problem for Mallorca throughout the season, and they still have 4 injured players right now. With only 5 scored goals, Sevilla is the leading goalscorer for Mallorca, while Muriqi has added 4 goals. Honestly, if there is a light at the end of the tunnel for Mallorca, it’s not very bright, and I think they will need a ton of luck, and then some, to stay in the league for another season. Mallorca has done its best, and sadly it wasn’t enough.

Sevilla has lost only 1 home game so far this season, and I don’t think Mallorca will be the second team who will beat them. Sevilla will go for the win here to secure the Champions League spot, and I think they will get it.
