Tottenham vs. Crystal Palace 12/26/21 Premier League Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

Tottenham is welcoming Crystal Palace to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Boxing Day in round 19 of the English Premier League. Tottenham is on the rise since Conte took over, but there is still a lot of work to be done by this team. Crystal Palace is once again the picture of average in the EPL, but they did have some solid results this season.

Tottenham hasn’t lost any of their last 4 games, they have beaten Norwich and Brentford in the EPL while tying with Liverpool also in the EPL last weekend. Earlier this week, Tottenham has beaten West Ham in the EFL Cup, and that is certainly a nice win for this team. As far as the EPL goes, Tottenham is now in 7th place with 26 points, and they are only 6 points away from the top 4, but they will need to start scoring a lot more goals to get there. It’s hard to believe that the team that has Harry Kane has scored only 19 goals so far this season, but it’s even harder to believe Harry Kane has scored only 2 goals so far in the EPL. Son is the leading goalscorer for Tottenham with 7 goals. The great news for Tottenham is they don’t have any covid cases, and all of their best players are free of injuries as of right now. Tottenham got kicked out of the Conference League earlier this week, which they will probably appeal about, but I think it’s good for them because they don’t have the depth to compete in 3-4 competitions, and they really need to focus on the EPL.

Crystal Palace is in 11th place in the standings right now, they have scored a decent 24 goals, but they have also conceded the same amount. Crystal Palace was on a 7-game streak without a loss a while ago, but then they lost 3 games in a row, but the good news is they haven’t lost any of their last 2 games. In those 2 games, Crystal Palace has scored 5 goals while conceding 3 goals, and they got 1 win and 1 draw. Gallagher has been in excellent form as of late for Crystal Palace with 6 scored goals and 3 assists. There aren’t any notable injuries in Crystal Palace as of right now. As I’ve mentioned, Crystal Palace is a solid team, but they are just an average team from which we can’t expect much, and I would be really surprised if we see them in the Conference League or the Europa League next season.

We can see from Tottenham how much a coaching change can be good, and signing Conte was their best signing in years. Harry Kane is improving, the entire team is improving, and I see them getting a win here, but Crystal Palace is playing well offensively right now, and I think they will score here.
