Viktoria Pizen and Inter Milan face off on Tuesday in a Champions League game in Group C at Doosan Arena.
Inter Milan currently sits in 3rd place in the standings, having picked up zero points. Inter Milan faced off against Bayern Munich in the first game of the Champions League, and they didn’t look great as they were defeated 2-0. Inter had 44 percent of the possession and only managed two shots on goal on the way to the defeat. They allowed 11 shots on goal, and they need to do a better job of not allowing so many shots in this game. It appears that Inter Milan will turn to Andre Onana in this game. Robin Gosens, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Alessandro Bastoni are all candidates that could come off the bench in this game. In this game, Inter need the offense to put pressure on.
Viktoria Pizen currently sits in 3rd place in the standings, having picked up zero points. Viktoria Pizen opened up the Champions League against Barcelona and the defense was awful, giving up five goals on the way to the defeat. They were down 2-0 before they scored a goal, but three minutes later they gave up another goal, and they never really had a chance to climb back into the game. Over the weekend, they were able to knock off Sigma 3-2. Tomas Chory scored twice over the weekend, and it’s expected that he is going to get the start again in this game. Pavel Bucha and Lukas Kalvach are also expected to keep their spots in the midfield, and both will need to have strong games.
I really don’t trust either of these offenses, and I expect goals are going to be hard to come by for both teams. It wouldn’t shock me if this is a game that was 0-0 after 90 minutes, but I don’t expect more than one goal aside. This game is going to be low scoring and the under 2.5 goals will cash.
