Villarreal vs. Celta Vigo 3/12/22 LaLiga Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

Villarreal and Celta Vigo are clashing at Estadio de la Ceramica in round 28 of the Spanish LaLiga. Villarreal is back to playing well and scoring goals, but they have lost their last LaLiga game. Celta has lost only 1 of their last 7 games, and they have played a fantastic match against Mallorca last weekend at home.

Villarreal is slowly approaching the top 4 in LaLiga, and they are now in 7th place with 42 points. With 47 scored goals, Villarreal is one of the best teams in the league, while their defense is also among the best with only 26 conceded in 27 games. Moreno and Danjuma are the leading goalscorers for Villarreal with 8 goals each, while Parejo has added 6 assists. Alcacer, Pena, and Alberton Moreno are all still injured. Villarreal is still playing in the Champions League, and they will be facing Juventus next week, but it will be on the road. In the first leg, the score was 1-1, but Villarreal deserved a lot more from that game. Overall, Villarreal is a great team with a lot of talent, with a solid defense, and great offense, they just need to show it a bit more.

Celta Vigo has been scoring a solid number of goals as of late, and they have scored 4 in their last game against Mallorca. Celta has won that game 4-3, and because of that, they have remained in 10th place in the standings. Offensively, Celta can do a lot more than the 33 goals they have scored so far, but their defense has been great so far, and they have conceded only 31 goals in 27 games. Aspas of course is the leading goalscorer for Celta with 13 goals and 4 assists, and he will lead the charge once again. There are no injuries or suspensions in Celta Vigo at the moment, and that will certainly help them get the win here. Honestly, I was expecting more from Celta this season because I know they can do a lot better, but after the way they have started the season once again, I think that the middle of the table will be enough for them. I’m sure they are a bit disappointed in Celta, but at least there will be no pressure on them to stay in LaLiga.

Villarreal is a great team, but Celta is in solid form, and I see them scoring here. With the Champions League ahead, I think Villarreal could take it easy here, and Celta might take advantage of that.
