the Line: -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds

David Ferrer and Tomas Berdych square off in the fourth round of the 2016 French Open.

David Ferrer is coming off a straight sets win over Feliciano Lopez that was decided in 30 games. In the victory, Ferrer won 77 percent of his first serve points and 45 percent of his second serve points. Ferrer has lost just one set this tournament and has managed to rack up 67 winners in his last two matches. Ferrer has also had 17 or less unforced errors in two of his three matches, making him even tougher to beat. Ferrer is always a threat on clay, and it’s good for his endurance that he’s been able to avoid that marathon match he usually ends up in during grand slams. Ferrer hopes to make the quarterfinals for the 12th time in his last 16 grand slam appearances. Ferrer has a chance at his seventh French Open quarterfinal.

David Ferrer vs. Tomas Berdych 2016 French Open Pick, Odds, Prediction

Tomas Berdych is coming off a four set win over Pablo Cuevas that took 39 games to decide. In the victory, Berdych won 82 percent of his first serve points and 54 percent of his second serve points. Berdych has won no less than 72 percent of his serve points and is coming off a match in which he hit 49 winners. Berdych has had double-digit aces in his last two matches, and when he’s serving well and hitting his spots, he’s a legit top-10 player who is a handful against anybody. Berdych just needs to trim his unforced errors, as he’s racked up 62 in his last two matches. Berdych hopes to reach a grand slam quarterfinal for the sixth time in his last 10 appearances. Berdych has a shot at his third career French Open quarterfinal.

These two have played 13 times in the past and Ferrer leads the series, 7-6. The last match was in this year's Madrid Masters, a match Berdych won in straight sets. Berdych has beaten Ferrer in three of the last four meetings. This will be the sixth time these two meet on clay.

Ferrer is always tough in this tournament, but Berdych has beaten him in three of the last four meetings and is 3-2 against him overall on clay. This is truly one of the tougher matches to pick due to both guys playing so well.

However, you have to like the head to head advantage leading in Berdych’s favor.
