Adrian Mannarino is coming off a straight sets win over Kyle Edmund that also took just over two hours. In the victory, Mannarino lost just eight first serve chances and had 31 winners to 28 unforced errors. Mannarino has to be very happy with his performance considering he dominated a top-70 player from start to finish and didn’t play anymore tennis than he needed to. Mannarino now has a chance to get the biggest victory of his career, as the 27-year-old looks to slowly climb back up into the top-50 rankings in the world. Mannarino has to be consistent with his first serve in order to have any chance. Mannarino has not made the third round of a grand slam since the 2014 US Open. Mannarino has won six of his last eight matches on grass.
This will be the first time these two meet on the tennis court.
Mannarino is no pushover for a second round match, as this is someone who was a top-30 player last season. However, you guys know by now, picking against Djokovic isn’t a wise idea, especially when we're talking about a lesser talent.
