These two have played twice in the past and Mahut won both meetings. The matches took place in the 2016 Ricoh Open and 2015 US Open. Both matches were decided in three sets.
Querrey just dominated the best player in the world in a way we haven’t seen in quite some time. Querrey may come back to reality sooner than later, but he should have enough left in the tank to beat an older Mahut.
Look for Querrey to make the quarters for the first time.
