Roger Federer and his late career comeback seem to be in full flow as he gets ready to play his next game in this year's US Open. This time around, the Swiss champions will take on number 31 seed from Spain, Feliciano Lopez.
Lopez will go into this game as the underdog and he will know this. The Spaniard has played many major tournaments before and although he has not had a ton of success, he will believe that he has what it takes to cause an upset. This will be hard since Roger Federer is a very good tennis player but with the age of the Swiss champion, Lopez will have the fitness advantage for sure.

This has not been the easiest tournament for Roger Federer as his last two games both ended up going the entire five sets. This is not ideal this early in a tournament since factors such as fatigue started to play into the equation, especially at Federer’s age. This game will be one where he will be up against a different level of opposition from his previous two games. Lopez in an experienced tennis player and that difference will be instrumental in this game. That being said, Roger Federer is still a class above in my opinion and I think he will get the win.
All in all, we are not getting a great price on betting on Federer to win so I think we should avoid that bet. That being said, there is still value in this game in the fact that I think Federer will win in straight sets and betting on this result is giving a good price Federer has already had two five set games and he will look to end this game quickly so I expect the Swiss master to use his skill to get this game done early.
